Payments
Practical details are worked through openly so that they never get in the way of the therapeutic work itself.
Rates
- Individual psychotherapy — R1200 per 50-minute session / as per medical aid rate
- Adolescent and child psychotherapy — R1200 per 50-minute session / as per medical aid rate
- Couples psychotherapy — R1500 per 80-minute session / as per medical aid rate
- Family psychotherapy — R1500 per 80-minute session / as per medical aid rate
My fees are aligned with standard medical aid rates. I am registered with most medical aid schemes and, where benefits are available, can submit claims directly on your behalf. For those without medical aid, or who prefer to pay privately, sessions are payable at the end of each session by cash/EFT.
When to pay
Therapy sessions are payable either after each session or prior to the commencement of the following session.
How to pay
Payments may be made via cash/EFT or medical aid claims.
Medical aid
The initial session is typically paid for upfront, after which an invoice can be submitted to your medical aid for reimbursement. Thereafter, we may discuss direct medical aid billing where applicable.
